The serviced office space market in the UK has increased by 19% according to a recent study, despite the difficult economic times.
Late findings have revealed that London is the largest serviced office market internationally and that overall, the number of serviced office centres across the world continue to rise.
The English capital reportedly makes up 8% of the total serviced office spaces worldwide, putting it in equal size of the combined markets in Tokyo, in Japan, Paris in France, New York in America, Hong Kong and Sydney, in Australia.
The report found that serviced office spaces account for on estimate 80 million square feet of space globally, providing around 750,000 workstations.
The total number of serviced offices universal allegedly generated approximately US $6.2 billion turnover in 2010 which is an increase from US $3.6 billion in 2005.
Further study conclusions showed that the UK has the most developed market for serviced offices, accounting for one in every three centres worldwide. The Asia Pacific region is the smallest.
