BSkyB is close to inking an historic office space deal in West London, report suggest, marking the largest lease in the area since the dawn of the economic downturn.
According to a report from Free Office Space, the search looks to be almost over with the news that the company is close to agreeing terms to take up some 162,413 sq ft of office space in Park Royal.
The move would see BskyB occupy the FC200 building in the First Central Business Park, which is jointly owned by Diageo and London Regional.
It is thought that Sky will pay in the region of £20 per square foot and will take a ten year lease with the option to break after five years.
Sky’s Brentford base is leased from food and chemicals giant GlaxoSmithKline.
