
Investec has agreed a deal to rent 7,500 sq ft of office space in Manchester.
The deal will see the asset management company relocate from its current office in central Manchester to 3 Hardman Street in Spinningfields.
Investec will occupy part of the second floor of the 350,000 sq ft building, which was designed by Shappard Robson, sharing it with BNY Mellon, Barclays Bank and Baker Tilly.
Paul Stevens of Investec said: “Investec is very pleased to be relocating its private bank and wealth and investment business units to this first class office building in Manchester’s new business district.”
Owners Allied London said that Investec will pay £28 per sq ft for the Grade A space, which will see 32 of the private bank’s staff move from the its existing premises in King Street in December.
