This year’s Offices 09 office space expo is set to take place in October in London, it has been confirmed.
The conference will be staged at the Lancaster Hotel on October 20th., with speakers include Francis Salway, chief executive of Land Securities, and George Iacobescu of the Canary Wharf Group, who will be representing developers.
Meanwhile, Nigel Baker, head of property at Microsoft, and Simon Ward of Barclays Property will be speaking on behalf of occupiers. Economist Roger Bootle, one of the City of London’s most esteemed economists, will also address attendees.
According to the event’s patrons Property Week and Bureau Veritas, the show will “explain how each side can work together to create value in a post-recession era that will hinge on strong relationships all round”.
Around 600 delegates are expected to attend Offices 09, which has this year been combined with the CoreNet Global UK Chapter conference and the Office Development Awards.
