The head office of The British Horseracing Authority is to move from Shafesbury Avenue to a new office space in London’s Holborn.
Racecourse operator and racing regulatory body, The Jockey Club is also moving it’s HQ to the O&H Properties’ building at 75 High Holborn. The Jockey Club will share 7 floors of office space with the the Horseracing Authority.
The British Horseracing Authority’s 6 floor office space amounts to 18,000 square feet with a 3,000 square foot basement space.
The Jockey Club is to take the 5th floor of the building bringing the total income from the two lettings to more than £800,000 per year.
The joint letting agents of the office space at 75 High Holburn are Savills and Farebrother, an 11-year lease term has been agreed.
Head of Savills West End agency, described the letting as significant for London’s mid-town market saying it “illustrates the fact that it is a key destination for UK headquarters”
