Global property concern Grosvenor is set to launch the 3-building office space element of the company’s major development in the centre of Liverpool, Liverpool ONE.
The Liverpool One office space launch marks the completion of the second phase of the project, in which three of the city’s historic buildings have undergone a complete redevelopment to become high end office space.
The buildings, all dating back to the late 19th Century, have been refurbished to create a series of state of the art offices in the heart of the wider £1bn Liverpool ONE development.
Described as the most important development in Liverpool centre for more than 40 years, Liverpool ONE covers more than 42 acres of the city and includes more than 30 individually designed buildings spread across five districts.
Owned by the Grosvenor Liverpool fund, the Liverpool ONE development includes shopping, restaurant and residential developments as well as the newly-completed office space.
The office space is spread across The Stanley Building, The Russell Building and Compton House. Totalling 35,000 square feet Liverpool One offices span a range of historic building styles, from warehouse to sandstone and red brick.
Since the opening of Liverpool One’s retail spaces, footfall in the city has gone up by 17% in some areas, and Grosvenor is hoping to improve on that with the launch of the Liverpool ONE office space.
Alex Henderson from Grosvenor said: “Each of these buildings has something very different to offer, but there is perhaps one overwhelming factor uniting them all and it is that by moving your business into Liverpool ONE, you are joining a broader, vibrant community of commerce”.
“We understand the pitfalls of relocating, but we believe that the opportunity to occupy quality space on flexible packages, makes becoming part of Liverpool ONE the obvious choice.”
