Kent office space gets go ahead

mp_conventional_officesPlanning permission has been given to develop almost 100,000 square feet of office space at Eureka Business Park in Kent.

Developers Quadrant Estates got the go ahead for the office space development in Ashford Kent. This development will make up the second phase of the Northdown office village and will be made up of four buildings, giving a total of 64,000 square feet of new high end office space.

Eureka Business Park is a joint office space venture between Quadrant Estates and Trinity College, Cambridge. The park itself spans 96 acres and has consent for 1,237,860 square feet. Currently only around 300,000 square feet of office space has been built.

The first phase of the Northdown office village was completed in summer 2007; further plans include a huge retail and office space development and a 35,000 square foot HQ office space which will be called Herald.

Managing Director of Ashford’s Future, Judith Armitt said, “The continued expansion of Eureka Park takes Ashford a step closer to being one of the biggest business hubs in the South East.”
