Charity buys prime Manchester office space

spore_skyline01-bAfter Adoption, the UK’s biggest adoption charity has purchased almost 6,000 square feet of prime Manchester office space, after outgrowing their existing Salford offices.

The 5,700 square foot office suite is situated in Manchester’s landmark mixed use retail and office space scheme, City Gate in Castlefield.

After Adoption have been based in Salford for years, but the national charity bought the office suite from Edwards & Co. as they needed a larger space. The charity now employs more than 100 people, with almost the same amount of people volunteering across the country.

Lynn Charlton, chief executive, After Adoption, said, “It is vital that After Adoption sustains a high profile position in the city and with our ground floor position in the building, we are an open, easily accessible organisation. The move will allow us to grow and improve our services.”

David Laws of Edwards & Co, said: ‘We’re pleased we could accommodate After Adoption’s criteria and provide them with a high profile position that enabled them to undertake a bespoke fit out of the space. City Gate is a very visible development and their commitment to the location is welcomed.”
