A planning application for a waterfront office space built to high sustainability standards has been put forward to the City of Edinburgh Council.
Forth Properties have submitted plans to build their first commercial development since the Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre 4 years ago.
The proposed 5 thousand square foot commercial and office space development planned by Forth Properties, includes provision for a cafe and restaurant on the ground floor. The office space situated above will be aimed at accommodating financial or professional services.
The highly sustainable prime office space will be called Pier One and will continue to contribute to the wider regeneration of Edinburgh’s waterfront area.
Nathan Thompson, Managing Director at Forth Properties Ltd said “This project is another example of Forth Ports creating a development opportunity that will deliver a long term economic benefit to Leith and the city of Edinburgh. We are proud of our commitment to the regeneration of Edinburgh’s waterfront in which we have invested over £150 million over the past 12 years.”
