Property giant submits plans for huge Victoria office space redevelopment

big-buildingLand Securities has submitted a planning application to turn the current home of The Department of Constitutional Affairs into an 11-storey office space with shops at ground level.

If plans go ahead, Selbourne House in London’s Victoria will be redeveloped into a 408,505 sq ft office space with 17,718 sq ft of retail space below.

Situated between the corner of Victoria Street and Buckingham Palace Gate the 1960’s building makes up just a part of Land Securities’ office space holdings on Victoria Street, which also include the 450,000 square foot Cardinal Place as well as City Hall, the current home of Westminster City Council’s offices.
