A-Class properties in Bristol have climbed up to £27.50 per sq ft making them more expensive than office spaces in Barcelona, Munich and Washington DC according to Knight Frank.
“Despite the projected climate of the UK economy, Bristol is performing well. In 2007 there was a sharp rise in Bristol’s office rental growth - nearly 6%” said Tony Nicholas, managing partner, Knight Frank in Bristol.
“This rise reflects the continued strong demand from occupiers contrasted against the shortage of prime office space available and further demonstrates the resilience of Bristol’s diverse economy” he continues.
In other Bristol office space news, plans to create a retail and office space development proposed by Los Angeles-based Cielo Real Estate were rejected by Bristol Downtown Development Corp on Monday.
