Commercial property chain British Land has delayed construction of a new office space skyscraper dubbed the Cheesegrater.
This news comes at the same time as the firm announced a 5% drop in their portfolio valuation in the wake of the economic downturn gripping the economy.
“We are reviewing timing of construction and target completion in order to optimise cost and occupational demand,” said the company in its first-quarter results.
